    The Most Dangerous Game

    Has anyone thought of this while looking at Sir stuff?

    In case any of you have forgotten/don't know, The Most Dangerous Game is a short story about a classy hunter/explorer gent who brings a man to his private island and hunts him down like sport. The overall theme and mood of the story seems similar to Sir.

    Just thought I'd throw that out there.

    Yeah it's a fair cop, we weren't the first people to think of turning the tables on Man: The Hunter
    Funnily enough though this specific reference didn't occur to us when we came up with Sir. We were thinking more Kind Hearts & Coronets and Dr. Who.

    In related news, I got PM'd this piece of music by 'DTtheLegend' who was inspired to write it after watching the Sir footage

    Super awesome! You should totally request to use that in your game. I could totally see that being a menu theme for the game.

    Well it's ok i guess. I'd not go as far as aweome, but with a bit more work maybe.

    Yeah it's definately one that builds up. The longer it goes on the better it gets. It's got a bit of a monkey island thing going too, which can't be bad

    Hello everyone.

    Thank you all for taking the time to listen to my song.
    That very slow build is intentional.
    This might be confusing, but It's supposed to tell a kind of story.

    It goes like this:

    Everything is okay until you find the first signs of a problem (the clarinet).

    It jars you a tiny bit but just as you are getting used to it, more problems
    stack up leading to a huge almost "cacophony" (the horns).

    At the eruption you, are shown the true nature of conflict (the strings).

    After a small amount of time in conflict, you are able to face this problem
    by taking on the difficult parts piece by piece. (the break down of strings).

    After the entire conflict is resolved (After the strings stop),
    you slowly go back to the way things were before this big conflict while retaining
    a smart part of the conflict within your mind (the horns and clarinet).

    This scares you at first, but later realize that keeping conflict within
    you is the heart of experience (no more horns, just clarinet).

    This was actually one of two songs I made as inspiration,
    the other telling the story of failure or instead of an
    integration - an embrace of the conflict as your new lifestyle
    instead of a will to conquer it. I decided to go with this one
    because it sounds closer to what I've seen of this game.

    Which looks awesome by the way.

    I should say that I am interested in providing music or sounds should you guys need some. I've been stuck in promotional work for various projects so my mentality right now is if it's a couple of songs and sounds and stuff,I'd just do it for free - my only condition being that my name is put in the credits.
