It's definitely not using JACK for me, just ALSA which should work out-of-the-box on pretty much anything. You may need to install the 32-bit ALSA libraries though - on 13.04 opening up a terminal...
Just a quick follow up, I installed E17 to see if I found the same keyboard issues as Ghostofkendo, but everything worked fine... so it's not E17 that's causing it.
(and annoyingly: when I ran the...
I thought this one was cute. :)
Hi James, kendo :).
Yeah, the keyboard blocking thing was a long shot.
I wonder if this could be a weird Unity-specific thing, like that png loading/network card bug in the other thread? I just...
That is some impressive bug hunting right there, both from khornel and the KSP forum peeps. *tips hat*
It's not just you! I find the doors can be difficult to spot too, especially on cathedrals.
I can't reproduce it either. I'm running on Arch Linux 64 bit, and I tried with hold-to-crouch both on and off, and also tried setting crouch to both C and Left Control.
Ghostofkendo, have you...
I think the game's balanced for this already, in that I'm terrified to sprint anywhere for fear of being spotted.
Which makes me wonder: would it be possible to do a successful always-sprinting...
Yep, this would be handy.
Just had another look at these. Atoning is right, they're attached to the ground but at the wrong angle, so they stick out oddly. And like Atoning, I'm seeing them on the coastline in higher altitude...
Everything maxed :).
Gah, forgot to attach the screenshots - edited them in.
It wasn't an 'in the distance' thing, you could walk up to it and it remained misplaced. If I spot it again I'll grab some video.

Bug Title: Floating grass
Brief Description of Bug: Occasionally see patches of grass floating above the ground
Ah, cheers, I'd missed that.
I'd like to be able to distract the robots by hitting an object (building, phonebooth etc.) with the axe and have them respond to the noise. At the moment the axe makes a huge racket when you smack a...
Core i5 2500 @ 3.3GHz
GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Arch Linux 64 bit
I turned all the settings up to maximum and with VSync on I'm getting a steady 60 fps, dropping down to around 30-40 fps when...
+1. It would be handy for when you're unexpectedly called away, etc.
Seconded for both of these.
Thanks for your good humour! And also for the fix - I can confirm that it's working for me as well :D.
You should feel honoured! My research was thorough and exhaustive!
Or maybe not - when I wrote that I meant it as a tongue-in-cheek jab, but re-reading it now it just comes off as mean spirited....
Or Vessel... or Little Inferno... or Trine 2.
I like to think of Linux as fashionably late :).
Thanks for the reply! That's all sounding wonderful to me. And I agree on the non-cheating point, I'd like to see it as a separate game mode rather than in-game hotkeys.
This is a little off-topic, but I thought it interesting enough to share. I recently came across this 1989 game for the Atari ST and Amiga.
A question... well more of a request, really: Are there any plans for a Proteus-style mode where there's no enemies? The player can just wander around, enjoying the sights + sounds and soaking it all...
