Right, there's clearly a bunch of problems at various levels of society, and that's detectable everywhere. The game is really about people being angry and frustrated, and people who feel like that, living in cities, generally don't value their environment. That was clear before any riots.

It does seems ludicrously appropriate to the times, but that was sort of the point.

Some interesting ideas here. Very interested in playing this.

That you were developing this before everything kicked off is almost clairvoyant, or could the concept have come from having subconsciously picked up on the social cues which, with hindsight, have been there for all to see?

Must say, Jom, it's hard for me to fathom much of this post, as the United States has more than four channels, and many of those have names otherwise... and could actually be located on any channel, depending on where you live! Sometimes I wish we had the Queen to keep these things in better order. But please, don't tell my statesmen that I am somewhat of a royalist in this regard.

As far as the actual gameplay, I think it's a neat idea. I like the idea of not starting from scratch. I don't really have the vision, aptitude, attention, or patience for the traditional city-building game. That has kept me away from the genre practically ever since the original Sim City, where I'd always end up with a bunch of problems, anyway. I couldn't enjoy fixing those problems because they all seemed like my fault in the first place. But a city game focused on the joy of problem solving that takes the onus off of me? That could work.
